It is a museum about art, applied arts and the local history of the city of Aachen. The museum is located in the center of Aachen. The museum is named after the Aachen baroque architects Johann Joseph Couven and Jakob Couven. It is located in the Haus Monheim that was designed by Jakob Couven.
